About

Why Kosmic?
Kosmos is an Ancient Greek word meaning Order of the Universe.
In my eyes, that order exists in all of life, in all of the universe, in all its imperfection. And at the same time, there are real systemic issues in the world, woundedness that has yet to be healed, and inspiration that has yet to be tapped. I’m curious what societal or universal issues move you, and what parts of yourself are waiting to be healed or expressed.
When we make spirituality the center of our lives, we discover a new kind of wholeness- not one that is founded on chasing illusions of perfection or conventional success as a lasting means of fulfillment, but rather one that invites us to make space for everything that arises, with curiosity and compassion. Allowing ourselves to enter into a state of not knowing, we more easily access wonder for the mysteries of life, paradoxically instilling a sense of trust in ourselves and in life as a whole. This trust helps restore order to what otherwise feels like a chaotic and oftentimes confusing world.
I am here to lovingly support you in recognizing the absolute order in all things in your life while also supporting you to actively structure your relative life around what matters most to you.

About me
My name is Meli Schneider.
I am a Certified Integral Professional Coach and hold an MA in Psychology with a concentration in Spirituality from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Throughout my life, I have sought out experiences, ideas, and beings that make life rich, rewarding, and colorful. Living on 5 continents and speaking 6 languages by the age of 23 enabled me to meet people from all walks of life and understand both their unique needs, as well as their universal human longings. I love connecting more than anything, and I frequently make friends with people on airplanes or in the supermarket.
At age 15 I became vegetarian when I felt that I could not contribute to the suffering of animals through my food choices. Care for animals through dietary and lifestyle choices, as well as caring for the environment through conscious consumption, have been a part of my life for some time now. And how well I am able to live out my values comes in waves, because we’re humans, and we ebb and flow.
My Spiritual Practice
I have been a spiritual seeker my whole life. While I technically grew up Catholic and has my First Communion, I used to doodle in religion class and give Jesus purple mohawks more than I listened to what was said. My grandparents are Muslim, and I enjoyed praying with my grandmother as a small child. At 18, I tried meditation for the first time, and I became interested in eastern spirituality. There was much exploration, including in Zen Buddhism, Yoga (hatha, kriya, kundalini), New Age spirituality, Hare Krishna, and more.
Eventually, I found myself in an integrally-informed Christian Contemplative community that helps people be monks in the world. I now work for that community. The spiritual practice is rigorous and requires some seriously challenging work, but I have seen how stabilizing a force a contemplative rhythm of life can be, especially for those sensitive to both the outer and inner world.
Our community, and my own work, does not require any religious label or belief system. I am happy to work with people of any belief, but experience with spiritual practices such as meditation, yoga, and/ or spiritual reading is a must.
What do I do?
Since 2020, I have helped healers, entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers personally and professionally step into their potential around the globe through coaching, consulting, workshop facilitation, and trainings. So far, I have worked with individuals and leadership teams in the US and Canada, South America, and Europe. Key themes include incorporating authenticity, vision, and self-expression into leadership for a more fulfilling life that gives back to others. I have supported individuals in becoming their own healers- a gift to bear witness to.
I work in English, German, Spanish (Latin America), and Brazilian Portuguese.
May we bridge your spiritual and practical life together.
